Whop Reviews exists to answer one question: which Whop communities are actually worth subscribing to? We test, review, and rank communities across trading, sports picks, reselling, and more — with full transparency about how we do it.
Who We Are
Whop Reviews is an independent review site focused on Whop — the platform that hosts thousands of paid online communities for trading, sports betting picks, reselling, and other online business models. We started because we couldn't find a reliable, unbiased source for evaluating these communities before subscribing.
The site is run by a small team of people who have personally subscribed to, used, and evaluated each community we review. We are not affiliated with Whop (the platform) beyond using their affiliate program to earn commissions on referrals. All editorial decisions are made independently.
Our Review Methodology
Every review on this site follows the same evaluation framework. We evaluate communities across five dimensions:
Transparency
Does the community document both wins and losses? Are claims verifiable? Do they share performance data consistently, or only when it looks good?
Educational Value
Beyond the picks or alerts — does joining this community make you better at what you're trying to do? Is there genuine knowledge transfer or just dependent signal-following?
Value for Price
Given the subscription cost, what do you actually receive? We compare value across price tiers and against alternatives in the same category.
Community Quality
Is the Discord or communication channel active and valuable? How does the team respond to questions? What's the signal-to-noise ratio?
Track Record
How long has the community been operating? What's the documented performance history? We are skeptical of new services without documented track records.
Our Rating Scale
All communities are rated on a 10-point scale:
- 9.0–10.0 (Exceptional): Best-in-class. Worth the subscription at any price point in its category.
- 8.0–8.9 (Very Good): Strong communities with minor limitations. Recommended for most people in their target audience.
- 7.0–7.9 (Good): Solid value with meaningful trade-offs. Worth considering depending on your specific needs.
- 6.0–6.9 (Fair): Has genuine value but significant limitations. Better alternatives likely exist.
- Below 6.0 (Poor): We don't feature communities rated below 6.0. Not worth recommending.
What We Don't Review
We don't review every community on Whop — only ones we've been able to evaluate with sufficient depth. Communities we haven't been able to adequately evaluate don't appear on this site. We'd rather have a smaller, accurate index than a large one full of guesswork.
We also don't review communities that we believe operate unethically — for example, communities that fabricate performance data, make unverifiable income claims, or run what appear to be coordinated pump-and-dump schemes.
Editorial Independence
Communities cannot pay to appear on this site, pay for higher ratings, or pay to have negative reviews removed. Our ratings are determined entirely by our own evaluation criteria. If a community improves or gets worse, we update the review — including downgrading ratings when warranted.
We do participate in Whop's affiliate program, which means we earn a commission when readers subscribe to a community through our links. This is how the site is funded. However, this relationship does not influence ratings or editorial content. A community with a high commission rate gets the same evaluation process as one with no affiliate program.
